“Vision for a Nationalist Organization”

What stopped Kashmir going away from India? What made so many army men to die? What makes a citizen of India to feel closeness to a keralite in US? What makes people to prefer to live, work and marry with persons of native countries? Is it a natural phenomenon like love for mother for his son or daughter or is it a result of practice and learning from parents, siblings etc or something else? People are not bound to or forced to behave the way they behave and show affection towards their nation and fellow citizens। Nation is a not a shared piece of land. Nation is a natural phenomenon where people are brought closer by nature and hence they feel affection naturally. People feel identification and cohesion within a ethno-national group. Its easy for them to remain attached with their roots instead pulling them and landing at some alien place and fighting for small rights and freedom. It is also not natural to go against the people and society which really brought them up.

* Nations is an indestructible unit
Societies over a period of time change their size, attitude and sometimes they do get destroyed like Haddpa and mohan-jo-daro. They get handicapped, corrupted and sometimes they do things which are totally against human values like mangols and afghans. Still what remains conserved is the concept of nation. Nations do get diminished or get resized but sooner than later they regain it. For example India was a Nation when Gupts were ruling here. Later central powers became weak and we have many small states but Indian society never lost the concept of India as a nation. And when Nationalist movement started in India, nationalist leader first well developed concept of India as a nation and later they got strength from nationalist feeling floating in the air. Once we started thinking as a nation, British Empire was defeated.

* Nationalistic Ideas can transform and ruin the society
Nationalistic Ideas are very powerful and aggressive tool. They can make or mar the societies and can created defected notions that can be carries from generation to generation. we can understand this thing by two examples which explains two different phase of nationalism.

1. Bangladeshi people hate Pakistanis even when two generations are passed even when they have religious equality, only because of this nationalistic tool.

2. Similarly, there is a clean distinction between Canada and US citizen where both the countries are living very peacefully and there is no reason for being them separate. We can explain it only be accepting the fact that the nationalism crates a natural platform for people to come and work together for mutual benefit. So, this is just two contrasting faces of Nationalism.

* WHAT IS NATIONALISM :
There are two factors, which mainly shapes feeling of nationalism.

First one is the attitude of citizens towards their fellow citizens. Citizens must have a positive outlook towards their fellow brothers and sisters they should feel a natural attachment for each other despite of all differences. Secondly, Actions of citizens brings nationalism in mainstream of society. These actions primarily focus on rise of the nation some way or other, in short run and long run.

Nationalist people don't justify their moves on the basis of morality or ethics. Nationalism defines and justifies itself only on the welfare of fellow citizens. So welfare is auto-indulged part of nationalism. Hence nationalism cannot be compromised on the terms like good, bad, morals, and ethics. These all are auto indulged part of nationalism. Every nationalist will love to live or die for his country without hesitation. Whatever he does, He has only one criteria to judge it if it is in favor of nation.

Nationalist do care for their own society and values implanted in it but only if these values are not obstructing their path. They chalk out path for rise of their own nation by using any and every means either aggressive or non aggressive without caring about rest of the world and any interference in the process is taken as an offense. Whoever comes in the path of rise of nation is taken as enemy and eliminated from the path of rise of nation. There is nothing called good or bad nationalism. There is nothing like purity or impurity of mind for a nationalist because if a person is nationalist, it itself means that he thinks not only about himself but the welfare of others also. And the concept of every one’s welfare cannot be tagged as good, bad, pure and impure. For him its either nationalism or anti-nationalism. All the ways leading for a better nation are good for him. It’s the criteria, which evaluates his each and every action.

Society and rise of nationalism:
Society has its own framework of working. It has religion, lust, greed etc. It has criminals, it has corrupt people, it has diplomats and sad thing is that it has in-built factors for discouraging nationalist feelings. Nationalism is one and only single Idea, which can cleanse the whole society if used properly.

Let us analyze few universal elements of society, which retard and deviate from nationalistic Ideas.

Major one is the religion. I see religion as strongest chain for controlling innocent people. Yeah Concept of religion is applicable to innocent persons only. Nobody knows how it was conceptualized. I believe that it was created by some powerful, rich and privileged people of society at point in time in the history of mankind to held the society their hands. I call them "GOVERNMENT". They took advantage of poor, weak working classes and gave society a sharp turn to make them fool. The sharp turn was religion and I refer poor, weak working classes as "PUBLIC". Rules of all religion are highly tilted in favor of GOVERMENT and PUBLIC has nothing but duty to feel happiness in sufferings and freedom in chains of morality. Without taking name of any religion, I am giving an example that all the religions have some concept of good and bad and it some way used to justify richness of rich and poverty of poor. Is it not a lame excuse that Indian framers are poor because they did something wrong in their previous lives?

So religion (or its different flavors e.g. caste) divides society and brings different sections of society in the battle field. Religions are designed with unique combination of lust and greed. In-built weakness of human nature is lust and greed. It is exploited time to time by GOVERMENT to divide PUBLIC into fractions and used the opportunity to crush nationalist feelings. They said " We will give you rice 2 Rs per Kg. We will give you free electricity." What they never said is that they will make us more and more poor.

Dangerous combination of religion, lust and greed kills all other Ideas except nationalism. It can only dampen or may be made weak for a moment but ultimately anything, which can fight with all evils of society, is nothing but nationalism.

Preparation for Revolution
Basic objective of Indian people should be to create a national movement . National leadership must emerge over a period of time. “Nations and People can become capable of meaningful and large scale transformation only when they will be organized.” Organizations and People will succeed to do something historical if they will be organized and motivated in a historical way.

First and foremost objective is to bring all nationalist organizations and persons on one single platform. I call it Nation Building Movement (NBM). NBM should not be an organization or a group of leaders, It should be a movement, a revolution, bringing all patriots on one platform and leaving all traitors outside. We will leave all regional, religious, language, casteist and all similar issues, this will brush up our knowledge and understanding, then we will be able to solve our major and common problems. What I believe and I think all other also agree with it that any movement started in India should have only one goal and that should be establishment of a state where all the Indians must be able to live happily.

Firstly, We have to consider requirement of employment for all Indians. Efforts to solve problems of poverty, education, health care and sanitation etc will be futile without solving problem of unemployment. In the next stage NBM must concentrate on awakening people to fight for their rights. National consciousness is the next main objective, which will affect the progress of movement. Injustice, corruption, oppression and anti nationalist elements will be tackled in this phase.

In the due course of time, NBM have to develop centers of revolution in every part of country. These centers not only produce leaders but also train masses for long and difficult fight and prepare them for any and every sacrifice. These centers should not leave any scope for failure due to lack in planning and indiscipline, which can creep in NBM. NBM must enforce discipline strictly. Level of discipline must be above the all armies of the world. Reason for enforcement of such a high level of discipline is that we are talking about the second freedom struggle of India, a country of more than 100 billion. it’s a voluntary organization and anything, which can stop people from becoming corrupt, is the discipline. NBM should not rely on and old notions of morality and ethics which failed all the times in past and will bound to fail in future because such notions allows everybody to hide their wrong doings in the name of inner voice as these are the things which can be modified, interpreted and understand differently by each person as every one has different mindset. So this can cause a great situation of fuzz all around in NBM. Anything, which fails on logical grounds, finally fails on emotional grounds.

NBM should create such an environment and processes that only those who have unconditional passion for country and selfless love for motherland can survive. NBM does not require the random notion of morality and religion because it have the mother of all morality and ethics that is nationalism, which does not require morality , religion or ethics to prove its goodness.

Last but not least, reason for putting such a high emphasis on discipline lies in following example: “99% young man of India wanted to be prime minister and I believe that none of them is going to refuse it if offered. They wanted to be PM without thinking that such a great responsibility should be taken by a learned person who went through a long learning process. Problem is that people are always ready to take powerful positions and they forget to make themselves worthy of such positions. ”

All the preparation must be done in a peaceful environment. NBM should maintain low profile in its initial stage and concentrate on organizing people at local level and preparing them for national level movement. Small blocks of nationalists should be created and these should be used be used as building block for NBM. NBM should put resistance and force the “GOVERNMENT” to take care of public. Resistance will be 'PASSIVE' and 'ACTIVE' both. Passive resistance should be used to defy rules and laws, which are made to harass public and benefit the “GOVERNMENT”. People should not pay taxes, stop following rules and fill the jails and prove that they are not afraid of “GOVERNMENT” what we call as NON CO OPERATION MOVEMENT.

Active resistance involves demolition of centers of oppression, exploitation and corruption. Forcefully bringing corrupt politicians, bureaucrats and judges etc in line of NBM. We have to be ready for any action of government, hence ready for any step which we will have to take in future to fight against all odds created by government.

Bhagat Singh said, “ Any Government which denies fundamental rights and facilities to people, should be either changed or destroyed.”

NBM should call for the complete destruction of “Government” and establishment of a state free of oppression and corruption, A nation of our dreams. Always remember that there is no good or bad nationalism, its either nationalism or anti-nationalism.
